TeleSynergy Research's (Santa Clara, CA - 408-260-9970) TeleUMS is a tough unified messaging server. It integrates with TeleSynergy's TelePCX phone system or on its own, delivering on TSR's "take only the piece(s) of the pie you need" philosophy.

By integrating a standard SMTP/POP 3 e-mail server, TeleUMS handles all the internal and external messages with intelligent routing capability. TeleUMS supports both dial-up and leased line connections.

Incoming Mail Alert pops up on the screen to tell you messages are waiting. An inbox lets you check your mail (voice, fax, e-mail), and create folders to manage them. Check voice and fax messages remotely with a phone or fax machine. Forward and broadcast voice and fax messages.

More goodness, the TeleUMS supports server-to-server connections via Internet. This means you are able to create your own global network; so you can send a fax to branch office through internet, and then send these faxes through local PSTN (public switching telephone network) to your customers. Save money. And even voice messages can be sent through the internet form your local TeleUMS to your branch office.
